Rowan will be attending another birthday party this weekend...cousin Gus is having a party for turning the big ONE on Saturday in Indianapolis. Gus will actually turn one next Wednesday, but we'll party a bit early. She's looking forward to it...and so are we.
College hoops season is almost over with Saturday's Final Four games and Monday's championship (there's already been one winner!). Three more big payouts in the square game are up for grabs with Saturday at $400 each and Monday's $1K grand prize. On Tuesday, we in Hoosier land can start looking forward to NEXT season where it can only get better. Coach Crean was hired exactly one year ago today, and what a year it was. The new recruits coming in are going to make it better, case in point is Alabama's Christian Watford. Basketball skills, solid GPA, good family...we need more like him at IU. End of college hoops can only really mean one thing, baseball's opening day. Chicago kicks off the season Houston on Monday night. Let's see, Cubs or National Championship? I'll just flip back and forth. We'll be in Wrigley two weeks from Sunday night for Cards/Cubs. Getting the season kicked off right.
I think movie night will be in full swing on SpydeysWebb.com from now on. Lots of good stuff out now or coming soon. Last night we got out to see I Love You, Man and really enjoyed it. A thank you shout out to Uncle Zach and Aunt Yvette for watching the Ro-dawg for the evening. Our review should be up later this weekend on the main page. It was a solid comedy flick. During the previews, we scoped out our next movie at the multiplex: Adventureland. It looks very good and coming from the same guy who did Superbad, it should be. It's getting good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, the one I read likening it to a period piece coming of age story like Dazed and Confused, one of my all-time favorites. D&C from the 70's and ALand from the 80's. Other previews we liked were State of Play and of course, Wolverine. [IMDb.com & Rotten Tomatoes]

Daylight Saving Time is a tough transition for some. Imagine the US having only one time zone. Sound crazy? Well that's China for you. They should have 4, but everyone runs on Beijing time. Well, not everyone. [LA Times]
