Friday March 27

Happy Anniversary to my parents, it's their 39th this year. Hope they're having or will have a good time out in Seattle visiting my Godfather for dad and taking in a conference for my mom. Love you guys.

The NCAA Tournament is in full swing with half the Elite Eight already determined with last night's games. No Sheridans in the winning quartet, but my cousin Simon got his money back with Pitt's win over Xavier. Nice win for Maverick in the UConn victory over Purdue. Four more $100 winners tonight. The games this weekend are for $200 each. Good luck to those in the pool! Some changes on the IU team next year with freshman Malik Story transferring to a school closer to his LA family home. The team next year will be better for having gone through this season, the worst in IU basketball history. Thanks for the cool link Depune. [SpydeysWebb & Peegs.com & ESPN]

No movies this week, but our eyes remain on I Love You, Man, which got some good reviews last week and is 80% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Really looking forward to Wolverine, with Tillbilly sending in his RSVP in for that May movie. [IMDb.com & Rotten Tomatoes & Wolverine official site]

I was talking about this a few weeks ago with Brooke. CDs and DVDs are not the end all for keeping your data forever. According to this guy, a hard disk is not the saving grace for your photos and files. Make sure you back up if you want to keep your mementos forever! [NY Times]

The new Sixth Sense. Dad sent me this link for development on the human sixth sense. It's an 8 minute video, very interesting stuff. [TED]
