1980 In a stunning upset, the US Olympic hockey team defeated the Soviets 4-3 at Lake Placid, NY.
It's called the Miracle on Ice and it's been 28 years since the greatest upset in sporting history. It was on tape delay no less! That wouldn't happen anymore.
