A quick little update for this weekend, since I'll be out tomorrow. We're taking Rowan to her first wedding on her first plane ride. Off to Houston in the morning tomorrow for my cousin Simon's wedding. Rowan will be meeting more family and after having her first plane ride! Mom's quite excited...not really. News Quiz will return next week.

The sunny, warmer weather will be nice! Right now, it's 61 degrees warmer in Houston than Fort Wayne. Rooftop pool here we come! ; )
Conference Championship games this Sunday...since I was 1-3 last week, no one will really care what I think! But here goes...this is what I think and what I want to see for the Super Bowl. Philly beats Arizona and the Steelers take care of Baltimore. All Pennsylvania Super Bowl in two weeks. The Eagles and Steelers share an interesting history surviving World War II. [NY Times]

I had a feeling that Slumdog Millionaire was going to do well at the Golden Globes. Didn't know they'd sweep the four categories they were nominated for though. Looks like they may be the movie to beat for Oscar next month. Nice to see Heather Ledger get the nod for his Joker in The Dark Knight. A big upset was Mickey Rourke as best actor for his portrayal of Randy "The Ram" Robinson in The Wrestler. Mickey's come a long way. [IMDb.com & CNN.com]
Digital TV is coming...if you're in the market for a new TV, try to make your decision more 'green'. [Mediaweek]
Lots of picture updates on Picasa next week of our trip...
Stay Warm!!!
