Friday December 5th

This week seems to have moved quickly. Usually the week after a short week doesn't. Winter is here though. I think we got out of the 30's for like 20 minutes this week. Otherwise cold, cold, cold. Maybe it will be sunny and warm Saturday, since it is such an important and awesome day? ; )

That's Rowan up there Friday morning with her new friend Monkey. We may be heading out for our Christmas tree this weekend. Hopefully something that's not too expensive and fits in the living room!

Rough week again for IU basketball. We took care of Cornell on Sunday but then got it handed to us by Wake Forest on Wednesday night. The spread was 25 and Vegas got it right when they whipped us 83-58. So that was the #15 ranked team, so what's the #5 ranked Gonzaga going to do to us tomorrow?!? Maybe we get back in the win column next Wednesday at home vs. Texas Christian. I will say that we control two things that are completely out of control: turnovers and missed free throws. Time to take care of the ball and make your FREE shots. [Gonzaga & TCU]

It's do or die time for the Washington Redskins: Sunday night in Baltimore. Just what a team that can't score needs, face a defense that is one of the best in the league. Nice. Baltimore is favored by 3. [Washington Post]

No movies over the holiday week...nothing new really in the theaters this weekend. The Punisher is getting...punished. That will be one for HBO viewing, if at all. Still wanting to see Quantum of Solace. [IMDb.com & Rotten Tomatoes]
