1st Thanksgiving

Rowan had her first Thanksgiving weekend. In the Sheridan family, Thanksgiving starts on Wednesday night with stuffed mushrooms and chili.

We also make homemade noodles for Thanksgiving dinner. My dad used to make these with his dad and then on his own for years. Zach and I started this tradition back up a few years ago.

The recipe? 18 eggs and lots of flour! Zach kneaded the dough together and then we ran it through the noodle machine I bought a few years ago. This machine works like a rolling pin and then as a cutter for the individual noodles. Christian helped keep the noodles throughly floured so they didn't stick together. We're getting pretty good at this.

The Sheridan Thanksgiving included cousins from my dad's side and friends from Michigan. 26 people in total. Good eats! We then went to the Taylor's in Decatur for Thanksgiving with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Alicia, Uncle Ryan and Gus. It was Gus' first Thanksgiving too.

We had several great visits with Aunt Shiloh, Uncle Christian, and Aunt Sharon this past weekend. It was their first visit with Rowan. She has now met the whole family!

Added almost 40 photos to the Picasa site from this weekend. Enjoy!
