
Olympics are almost done and it's been a good one for the USA. We're still enjoying the festivities and staying up too late most nights. They sure pack it in for the two weeks. NBC gets middling grades from me for their coverage. I think if there's an event that's going on right now, as in live, then put it on TV! Tape delay just doesn't work in the land of Twitter and instantaneous coverage via Internet or mobile phone. They should have carried the US/Canada hockey game on the main channel Sunday instead of MSNBC. Great game but not in HD. I think there'll be a rematch this Sunday afternoon for the gold medal, and of course NBC will carry that. [NPR Blog]

Winter hit us again tonight with a nice snow storm. Can I hope this is the last of the season as well? March is right around the corner and March is when Spring starts. Also March Madness! NCAA Square Board opens Monday.
