Sunday is my first Cubs game of the season, and they're making me sick. If we need Sunday's game to avoid a sweep to the Cards, I don't know what I'm going to do (*UPDATE* Cubs won on Friday with a Soriano 8th inning homer, sweep averted!). At least I'm going with 4 other Cub fans, Brooke's dad Jeff included. There's only 1 Cards fan, and it's Travis. He's a good sport and I don't anticipate any 'talk' if the Cubs happen to lose. Shoot, he'll be asleep before we hit Lake Shore heading home! With the 8PM start, it's going to be a long dark trip home. Man, I hope they win.
No movies again this week, but State of Play looks like a good one. Next Friday, Wolverine is here. Not sure if we'll be seeing it opening night or sometime the following week. [Miami Herald & IMDb.com]
