It's been a busy week for all Sheridans. Rowan's getting bigger, Brooke's back to work from home, and I'm preparing for the 10th rendition of The Sheridan Invitational. It really is hard to believe that it's been 10 years since this all started. Brooke did the design on the new shirts and they look amazing! We have 30 golfers ready to tee it up and gorgeous weather to welcome them. Can't wait!
Rowan visited dad's office this weekend. That's her up there trying out some Event Tape as a changing pad! This stuff has so many uses!
Big sports weekend for Rowan and me. Ryder Cup all weekend, primetime IU football on Saturday, full slate of NFL and the Sonic Death Monkey on Sunday. I'm keeping this girl busy! She loves it...

Hurricane Ike hit the Sheridan family last week. Christian's family, several of my cousins, and Christian's in-law's families all live in the Houston area. They hunkered down at one house and waited it out. Not too much damage to the homestead and power was back on later in the week. All good news. The scene from a helicopter on search and rescue and this link from the Boston Herald show the devastation. Christian also has some photos he took on his Picasa page. [LA Times & Boston Herald]

As new parents we can learn something new every day. Can't wait until we're into real food. [NY Times]
We can only hope the voters on the veteran's committee get it right and select Ron Santo for the Hall of Fame this year. [Chicago Tribune]
