Painting Rowan's Room

Busy weekends continued around here with the painting of Rowan's room. Grandma Sheridan came over to help out, and what a great help she was!

On Friday night during those amazing storms, I removed the last bit of the border wallpaper in the room and got it ready for painting. On Saturday afternoon, Grandma Sheridan and I got the setup done, cut in the ceiling and baseboard and put down the first coat. Brooke did some touch up work on another bedroom and the bathroom and also prepared a dresser for repainting. On Sunday, we knocked out the second coat and finished the dresser for Rowan. This dresser, I was told on Sunday, was used by my dad and his brother when they were around 14 years old. A Sheridan family heirloom! I'm sure my brothers and sister would recognize it, prior to the new white finish.

Lots done with lots more to do! We're getting excited around these parts...
