More playoff hockey for the Dallas Stars! About time...You can catch these games on the VS. channel. That is if you even have the VS. channel! When these games are in HD, they are a sight to see. [Dallas Morning News]
Continued from last week's posts...with the food shortages, biotech foods are being used by more and more people. [NY Times]
Sports blogging, is it really reporting? Seems some teams don't want to let the blogging only media into the locker room or press box. It's an interesting development on the explosion of blogs on the media. [NY Times]
Danica Patrick became the first female to win an IndyCar Series race in Japan on Sunday. Funny thing about the track, it's located probably 15 miles from where I lived for two years. Motegi is the town just south of my town, Karasuyama (town names have changed since I've been there, but that's a discussion for another time). I remember my buddy Andrew taking me to see Twin Ring Motegi as it was being built back in 1996. It's really out in the middle of nowhere, but it's where they could get enough land for a racetrack in Japan, about 70 miles north of Tokyo. [NY Times and Wikipedia]
New ways of making movies in Hollywood. Seems the big wigs in the new Indiana Jones movie won't make money until the studios are paid off on their investment. No upfront earnings for George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, or Harrison Ford. I wouldn't think they'd have much to worry about...this movie will make money. [LA Times]
