After the strike ended on Tuesday, we used the London underground or tube system heavily our last two days. They are pretty clean and very efficient. A normal tube ride costs around $2-3, but we got the new Oyster cards for rides throughout the week. The card is used as you go through the gates and you don't have to mess with tickets.
