St. Paul's

As you saw in the previous post, we were across the street from St. Paul's Cathedral. We walked across the Thames on a pedestrian bridge built for London's millenium celebration.

St. Paul's was built by Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of 1666. It's absolutely beautiful, but I'd never been before. It was fun doing this for the first time with Brooke. The ticket for the tour includes a walk to the top of the cathedral dome, roughly 450 steps to the top. Very hard work!

The first picture was from the top down to the Paternoster Square and the second was from the square at lunch back up to where we just were. Pretty cool.

We went to see the musical Wicked that night on the west end. Another first for me in London. It was incredible. A whole lot of fun...
