We pulled out an old shirt for Rowan this week. Old shirt but new to her and I think it helped the Hoosiers stop their slide on Wednesday night! Certainly couldn't have hurt, that's for sure. Hope you all booked that bet I guaranteed in last week's post. The hunt for win #2 is on now...
Going to see some high school basketball this weekend. My buddy Steve is the principal at the #8 ranked Northridge High School. They play Wawasee on Saturday night, so Brooke and I are driving to Syracuse, IN to check them out. Crazy defense is in store, as Northridge is undefeated and holds their opponents to 37 points a game. Wawasee gives up almost 93 a game, so this could be a serious blowout.
Football season is officially over (I don't count the Pro Bowl). So SpydeysWebb will soon be moving into NCAA Tournament mode. Square game and bracket pools will be starting the beginning of March...fun, fun!
Saw some new trailers for movies during the Super Bowl ad blitz last weekend. The fanboy in me looks forward to the new Transformers and GI Joe movies. Summer popcorn fun, that's what I say. Speaking of Fanboys, I might be interested in this one if it ever makes to the Fort. We'll get out to see some of the serious fare before the Oscars, I think. It's time to get a new movie up on our web site reviews, March holds one definite in the plans. The Watchmen will be released and I will be watching the Watchmen (even if the original author isn't a fan of the movie). [USA Today & IMDb.com & Fanboys web site & CNN & LA Times]

I remember reading about the demise of the TiVo company months ago. I'm also aware of the way satellite companies tried to cheat on their copyright as I had to get the inferior DirecTV version of it for the HD channels. Now it appears that TiVo is back in a big way, including teaming up with DirecTV again. [LA Times]
It was time to download the new Google Earth this week. New updates include searching the ocean floor! See if you can find this shipwreck they just announced. [Mercury News & Washington Post]

This is quite unbelievable. I'm certainly glad this snake isn't around anymore! [LA Times]
Weather's getting warm this weekend...enjoy it!
