Movie time has taken a break these last couple of weeks. There's not been a movie we're willing to spend $8.50 on, really. Iron Man was an awesome flick and still rides high at the box office. A couple Iron Man related articles from the Chicago Tribune last week caught my eye. This one uses comic book heroes like Iron Man to teach physics classes and this one asks if the Iron Man suit could actually be made. Oh, one more thing, go see Iron Man.
Here's a movie that's coming soon. End of the month as a matter of fact. I will admit I watched Sex in the City on HBO. Now with the Sex and the City: The Movie coming out, I'm not that excited. Brooke is all about it and ready to go. I think she's planning a night out for it on May 30th. This Trib article has a funny take on men seeing or having to see Sex and the City: The Movie. The peon at the end of the article is an idiot: Juno was a great movie and I got lucky 27 Dresses sucked and Brooke didn't want to see it!
24 is back next January for Day 7. In the meantime, they're planning a 2-hour prequel to get us moved from Day 6 that played out in 2007 to Day 7. Watch The Rookie on the 24 website...good stuff. From Mediaweek's Programming Insider.
24 - The Prequel:
Fox's veteran 24, which never aired this season because of the writers strike, will whet the appetite of its hungry fans with a two-hour prequel on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. ET. Set a few months before day seven (and season seven) begins, Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer will battle an international crisis. It's never a dull moment for this guy!

Lots of killer '24' Day 7 scoop in this Chicago Tribune article.
