On our last full day in London, we finished up some touring areas like the National Gallery and the Tower of London.
The National Gallery has some great paintings from all kinds of great peeps: Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, Tippy Tippy Day Day (remember that from Seinfeld?). It's an amazing place that's right behind Trafalgar Square in the heart of London. I told Brooke on this trip that Trafalgar Square is one of my top five places in all the world. Simply incredible. That's my father-in-law Jeff at Trafalgar Square.
After a brief stop for a snack, we were on our way to the Tower of London. For the first time, I took the Beefeater tour with the rest of the family. That was pretty cool. That's Brooke by Traitor Gate and us with the Tower Bridge in the background.
We finished the day with a coffee with Simon near his office by the Tower.
After leaving London the next morning, we had no internet with our hotel rooms. The next two nights were at Days Inn and it was $20/hour for internet coverage! Can you believe that? We didn't spring for it...
